Yuk Yuk's, the world's largest chain of comedy clubs, was founded in 1976 by Mark Breslin, whose manic artistic vision created a launching pad for the likes of Jim Carrey, Howie Mandel and Norm Macdonald. Alternative American comedians like Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison also found refuge here when US clubs wouldn't book them. Tuesday nights feature amateurs, including Humber students. The rest of the week, the club offers the best stand-up Canada has to offer.
