Old and small are good qualities when it comes to hotels, and this one is both. Built in 1908, the Victoria is the second-oldest hotel in the city after The Gladstone. The 56 rooms are on the small side, and some views are better than others, but the place has character and a sense of intimacy. It has a breakfast room, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for other meals. The location is great too: it is close to Union Station, the St. Lawrence Market, the Financial District and the Waterfront.
