The Park Hyatt is a classy affair, if a bit old-fashioned. From the marbled halls and capped bellboys to the soft carpets and seamless service, the name of the game is tasteful comfort. Highlights include the renowned Roof Lounge bar, a coffee shop with the standards of an upmarket restaurant and the beautiful Stillwater Spa, where you can luxuriate in your own private changing room watching TV on a sofa. Bedrooms vary in size: the newer north wing offers a range of playful, bright and spacious rooms, including a blushing, overwhelmingly pink suite - while the more traditional south-wing rooms tend to be cosy and dark. Wooden repro antiques and fluffy duvets add a touch of home.
