The first specialist museum of ceramic art in North America. Following a $15-million revamp, the Gardiner now boasts three new galleries, a glass-covered atrium and Jamie Kennedy at the Gardiner, a restaurant overseen by the celebrity chef. Apart from the dining-room china, there is a fantastic collection of Italian maiolica, English delftware and other ceramics from Europe, Asia and the Americas. The museum has an expanded gift shop and offers classes at the clay studio.
