Further confirmation of Toronto's long-standing Anglophilia is provided by this new club, which was named after and founded on the success of the long-running Mod Club series previously held at other local clubs. Boasting good sight-lines, excellent sound and a location on the edge of the busy College strip, it has rapidly become one of the city's leading mid-sized club venues. Such big-name English acts as Jamie Cullum, the Stranglers and Dizzee Rascal have packed the joint, while American acts (Blues Explosion, Matthew Sweet) have also been hosted.
