If you're tired of the elitist and snobbish atmosphere of some jazz clubs, then the Rex is a refreshingly low-key alternative. The casual atmosphere, friendly regulars and a wide range of beers on tap make this a social place to hear the best local jazz artists. Two, sometimes three, acts play daily, and stars such as Harry Connick Jr have also been known to jam here. A great budget venue.
