A refreshing addition to the scene, Lula's is on the edge of Little Brazil, and has a Latin vibe to its drinks (fine Mojitos), food (tasty tapas) and decor. It looks like an old-style banquet hall, but has a top-notch sound system and great sight-lines. Regular bookings stress Latin and world music, but veteran local promoter Gary Topp has also brought in cult heroes like Jonathan Richman and James Hunter; Norah Jones and Jason Mraz have also performed in the 250-capacity room.
