Haute cuisine has gone casual in Toronto, so little wonder this posh gourmet palace has been reworked as a steak house. Diners enter via the Easy and the Fifth nightclub. A freight elevator elevator swoops them away from the dancefloor and up to the elegant dining room. The meat ranges from pure Canadiana - bison rib-eyes - to a chateaubriand for two. Former chef JP Challet has returned to the stove, adding a soupçon of adventure to the menus. And the Fifth Grill still has one of the best terraces in the city. Reservations recommended.
