Under the guidance of former chef Claudio Aprile, the SoHo Metropolitan's restaurant and bar gained notoriety for being stiff and formal. Hong Kong star Patrick Lin, a native Torontonian, has returned and stepped behind the stove, shifting the culinary gaze to the East. Lin's delicate Chinese gastronomy pairs classical techniques with modern influences. At press time, the chef had yet to announce his menus.
