Though hidden on a quiet residential stretch in the Annex, the Indian Rice Factory has become a hub for those who favour clean, classy Indian cuisine over the more rugged, gritty kind you get in Little India. Some complain that such sophistication comes at too high a price, but a bite of the butter chicken usually shuts them up. The lamb is cooked just right, tender and carefully spiced; the light, flaky samosas won't sabotage the main course. Book ahead if you don't want to wait.
