Restaurants in the Annex tend to be mainstream. But if the occasion calls for something more exotic than comfort food or continental, stray a few blocks west to Little Korea. Order a soju (Korea's answer to saké) and watch the dishes of kimchi and its cousins appear. Be bim bop gives you all your food groups - and all your calories - in one bowl, while bulgogi beef surpasses your typical Chinese shredded kind. Queues aren't unusual.
