Despite its pejorative name, Terroni (Italian for 'bloody southerners') manages to attract countrymen in their droves. In fact, waiting for a table (and wait you will at peak times) is a lesson in dialect. The most popular offerings are the pizzas, 23 old-school configurations that average $10 but could feed two and leave scant room for the fine antipasti, good pastas and famed cannoli. Conspicuously absent from Little Italy, Terroni nevertheless occupies similarly fashionable ground in its other locations.
