The decor is as close to art deco as Japanese gets - possibly because the venue was formerly a Belgian bistro. There's also artistry in the preparation, from the sushi to the black cod. Every traditional Japanese dish is done with a twist: lime is a favourite, adding a flourish to soups and mains. Ingredients are layered and layered again; the result is delicious.
