True bistro fare, just like top chef Marc Thuet likes it - but with an Alsatian twist. Thuet, who rose to fame on the haute-cuisine scene with Centro and The Fifth Grill, has always had a passion for artisan breads, foie-gras feasts, succulent game and pretty puds - and it shines through here. Riesling-based sauces are heady, portions are generous, and the romantic Gallic ambience could have made even Edith Piaf happy, had that been possible. For indulgent take-out - from boeuf bourguignon to the chef's own demi-glace gourmet doggie biscuits - go to Atelier Thuet, his prepared-food shop.
