Loblaws review Rate it

It's been around since 1919, but until recently Loblaws was just your average grocer. Then the stores began a clean-up process and expanded into veritable mini malls: well lit, with in-house cafés, culinary classes, kids' cookery programmes, wine depots, exotic fresh fish, sushi chefs, dry-cleaners and chemists. Service is swift and, despite its gilded appearance, Loblaws manages to keep its prices competitive.

The Dupont-Christie Store is just an awful place. They are also thieves. They commonly put items "on sale" but then never translate the reduced price to the bar codes hoping that unsuspecting shoppers will not notice when it is scanned. If a shopper protests, the employee working at a till needs to call a "manager" to override the inflated price. I waited in line 30 minutes for one of these managers to come and override an item of a customer in front of me. I had no choice but to change aisles. In the new lane, two customers in front of me also required overrides. I almost left the store with my groceries on the counter. I was in line for more than 30 minutes to buy a few items--appalling. The employees are rude as well--can't blame them, they are clearly mistreated. I will never shop there again.

Your company lacks compassion and one that have have no common decency.
I fell on your property leaving your store on August 26th 2013 at approx 5.50 pm
hurt myself bloody eye face knee and no one had the guts to call after they took all the info. Thanks to the shoppers who saw and helped me until the Ambulance came.l
Having shopped at Loblaws for years I am so disappointed that they are so lax in morals that they could behave this way. If I did not call I would not have had a response 16 days after. No concern for ones health only for the money we spend at your store.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Would Mr. Weston approve of this behaviour.
