Royal Alexandra Theatre review

This 'Edwardian jewel box' turns 100 in 2007, and its legacy is rich. It is where John Gielgud and Ralph Richardson performed, and where Piaf belted and Fred Astaire put on the Ritz. In 1962 it was bought by Ed Mirvish and now it is used for road shows. A stage version of Dirty Dancing saunters onto its stage in the autumn of 2007.
