Princess of Wales Theatre review Rate it
This venue in the Entertainment District is the first privately owned theatre built in Canada since 1907. With Peter Smith as its architect, Yabu-Pushelberg as its interior-design firm and Frank Stella responsible for its murals, this place is noted as much for its looks as its productions. It opened in 1993 with Miss Saigon and is part of the Mirvish subscription season, which runs safe, middlebrow fare.
