A café, chocolate shop and epicurean temple rolled into one, this unique spot is the brainchild of a pastry chef and his designer wife. David Castellan and Cynthia Leung decided the meaning of life was found in chocolate, so in their new expanded shop they have laid bare the dark arts. Through Plexiglas windows you can watch staff grinding cocoa beans, crafting choccies and making ice-cream (find your inner Charlie here). The open room has a few stools and a piazza-inspired set of stairs - perfect for lounging while you sip top-grade coffee or spicy hot chocolate, and nibble on delicious cakes. Afterwards, stroll through the quaint Distillery District and poke around the galleries and shops.
