This dowdy diner is just off the beaten track, west of the Beaches - which is probably one reason it hasn't changed in over 50 years. You can dine on scrambled eggs or schnitzel, but the sell-out is the beef: Tulip is a proper steakhouse, without the heavy drapery and white-shirted waiters. Don't leave without sharing one of the giant T-bones, or a brisket. And save room for the rich chocolate cake.
