Hotels

The five-star Hyatt Regency (Milentija Popovica 5, 301 1234, www.hyatt.com, €250-€315) and InterContinental (Vladimira Popovica 10, 220 4204, www.ichbg.com, €175-€215) are in modern buildings, inconveniently far away in New Belgrade. A more central five-star is the smaller Aleksandar Palas (Kralja Petra 13-15, 330 5300, www.aleksandarpalas.com, €220-€360), which offers luxury suites in a beautiful building from 1887. The three-star Royal (Kralja Petra I 56, 263 4222, www.hotelroyal.co.yu, €30) is a good deal and central, as is the two-star Beograd (Prizrenska 2, 268 7466, €26-€49). Note that dinars are the official currency, but most hotels and restaurants will accept euros.
