Transport

Delhi is not a pedestrian city so your best bet is to ring for a metered black and yellow cab or just walk down to the nearest stand. Cheaper are the auto-rickshaws, also black and yellow, basic two-seater bodies stuck atop modified motor-scooter chassis. The drivers are notorious rip-off artists so be sure to fix the price before getting in.

There are three main train stations which connect Delhi to the rest of the country. The New Delhi Station can be reached from Connaught Place. The Old Delhi Station is near the Red Fort in the old city. The Hazrat Nizamuddin Station is in Nizamuddin East in South Delhi.
