If you prefer a more hands-on approach and your travel plans include diving to the depths of the ocean or scaling an icy glacier, there are a couple of unusual extras. Thrill seeking visitors can test their skills on the ice climbing wall or take a leap into the diving pool, where fully qualified instructors will be supervising try-dives. If photography is more your scene then the 2006 Travel Photographer of the Year gallery opens for the first time over the weekend, showcasing the most dramatic travel photographs from across the planet.
