The owners of the latter also rent fully equipped apartments for two to four people (€90/€120) in an adjacent building, where the fourth-century stone walls are still visible downstairs. Nearby Pensión Bellmirall (C/Bellmirall 3, 972 204 009, €60-€70, closed Jan & Feb) is in a pretty 14th-century building with a shady breakfast courtyard. The Hotel Peninsular (Avda Sant Francesc 6, 972 203 800, www.novarahotels.com, €62-€68) is reasonably priced.
