More expensive is Kempinski Hotel Atlantic (An Der Alster 72-79, 288 80, www. kempinski.atlantic.de, €245-€470), which overlooks the Alster. The Hafen Hamburg (Seewartenstrasse 9, 311 130, www.hotel-hamburg.de, €100-€170) has a harbour view. In St Pauli, Hotel Monopol (Reeperbahn 48, 311 770, www.monopol-hamburg.de, €90-€110) is friendly and clean. Good options in St Georg include Hotel Senator (Lange Reihe 18-20, 241 203, www.hotel-senator-hamburg.de, €119-€179), and the cheaper Kieler Hof (Bremer Reihe 15, 243 024, www.kieler-hof.de, from €55).
