Two of Málaga’s biggest annual festivals are the Noche de Reyes (5 Jan), commemorating the visit of the Magi to the infant Messiah, and Semana Santa (Easter). Both involve huge parades of colourful floats being carried through the streets with thousands of onlookers joining in the revelry. There’s also the summer Feria – a week-long mini-carnival – in August.
