Nightlife

Sa Llotja is the liveliest area for after-dinner drinks. Start at the extraordinary Abaco (C/Sant Joan 1, 971 714 939, closed Jan-mid Feb), a wildly kitsch cocktail bar in an old mansion; cocktails are a hefty €14 a pop. Atlántico (C/Sant Feliu 12, 971 722 882) has a retro rock ’n’ roll look, bedecked with memorabilia, and swings to the sound of Elvis and the Rolling Stones.

For Ibiza-style clubbing, Tito’s (Passeig Marítim, 971 730 017, www.titosmallorca.com, closed Mon-Thur) is the place. Dress alluringly for any chance of getting in.
