With a dimly lit entrance (hit the bell to be buzzed in) and none of the downstairs decadence visible from without, this bar and club feels secretive and nefarious – which, of course, it is. Plush red interiors, sofas, passable basic cocktails and a lower-level dance floor that’s sometimes open all add up to a great hideout.
