Ecclesiastical modernism reaches new heights in this fantastic (for 1928-32, of course) church, whose rose window features an unbroken ramp you could ascend on a bicycle. It’s one of the most inspiring structures in the city, by Josip Plečnik, the pioneering Slovenian architect who also restored Prague Castle to make the mark of the first republic.
