This fascinating collection, enjoyable for both kids and adults, traces the development of technology and science in Czechoslovakia, which, until the communist era, was among Europe’s most innovative and industrially advanced nations. Steam trains, vintage motorcycles, racing cars and biplanes are at ground level, while the claustrophobic ‘mine’ in the basement has sinister coal-cutting implements in place in mock tunnels. Guided tours available in English.
