Usually packed, this pleasant and unpretentious cellar bar and restaurant on a twisty, picturesque Malá Strana backstreet is an old local favourite worth finding – which takes some effort. The open sandwiches, salads and grill dishes will pass muster but the savoury crepes are the real highlight. English-style dessert pancakes with lemon and sugar are priced at a pittance. Waiters are cool and reasonably flexible about substitutions.
