Hotel Josef

Definitely the hippest, if not the only, designer hotel in Old Town, the Josef opened in 2002. The flash modernist interiors and unique fabrics and glass bathrooms (superior-class rooms only) are the work of London-based designer Eva Jiřičná. All this in the thick of the historic centre, with the top-floor rooms in the ‘Pink House’ having the best views. The fitness centre’s very basic and there’s no real designer bar, alas, just the overlit lobby one, but you do feel sleek here. Kids under six go free.
