The locale, a handy but not picture-pretty street, makes this palace look out of place. Boscolo Hotels made over this former bank with unrestrained Italian opulence, complete with cigar bar, pool, gym, wooden floors and a colour palette of sage, gold and mahogany, but the service is classic Mediterranean, alas. Spa and Wellness centre.
