- This Prague foothold of Spanish chain Design Hotels Collection was transformed by Philippe Starck from a 19th-century apartment building, the façade of which is the only aspect unchanged. Interiors are infused with contemporary brightness and a sleek, comfortable 1960s/’70s feel. Opened in February 2006, it has brightened up the corner of this block across from the main rail station – a good option for late rail arrivals.
