Hotel Schwaiger
The former villa of a 19th-century bohemian painter, the Schwaiger is in a leafy, hushed part of town close to Stromovka park but a ten-minute cab ride from downtown. Recently redone in what could be described as Tuscan-meets-Zen, the best news yet is the new branch of Prague’s best-loved French regional shrine, Bistrot de Marlene. Pleasant staff and a lovely back garden and sauna.
