Agata e Romeo

Via Carlo Alberto 45

Agata Parisella was the first chef to demonstrate that Roman cuisine could be refined without sacrificing its wholesome essence. Among the primi, the terrine of coda alla vaccinara is an affectionate tribute to a legendary Roman dish. Agata’s husband, Romeo Caraccio, presides over the dining room and extensive wine list. The service is friendly but professional; the decor elegant but welcoming; the bill is steep.

Maybe the poorest value for money you can get for a Michelin star. The code combination was a joke & only 1/4 eatable. We paid 110€ each for the "traditional menu" not included wine or drinks & felt like being robed.
Don't believe the excellent reviews they managed to get from the major guides. Keep away & save your money. Posted on Nov 01 2008 09:21
