The decor at this neighbourhood trat consists of photos of boxers and rugby players – the two sporting passions of host Angelo Croce. The menu – which, in the evening, comes at a fixed price (€25), rough-and-ready house wine included – celebrates the Roman tradition in dishes such as tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta with cheese and pepper) and meatballs flavoured with nutmeg, pine nuts and sultanas.
