Museo di Roma in Trastevere
Rome’s folklore museum, housed in a 17th-century convent, has a few faded watercolours of a long-vanished Rome and some whiskery waxwork tableaux that evoke the life, work, pastimes and superstitions of 18th-century and 19th-century trasteverini. The pretty courtyard occasionally plays host to good photo exhibits.
