Single parenting is, like, such a bummer! That’s the main message of this obnoxious girls-gone-mild comedy, in which a former hellion named Kim (Krysten Ritter) struggles to grow up after an unexpected pregnancy leaves her with a baby son. Torn between her new maternal responsibility and those still-present one-night-stand urges, Kim further complicates things when she tells a hunky dude that the infant actually belongs to her dating-columnist roommate (Kate Bosworth)—a deception that, naturally, leads to various romantic, friendship and identity crises. Don’t worry, folks, everything will be resolved via a you-can-have-it-all fantasy ending that’s almost as groanworthy as the film’s set piece involving a sexual tryst interrupted by breast milk. Something happens here, but it isn’t life.

  • SORRY NICK, MAYBE NOT YOUR LIFE.I really liked it and so did the not typical chick flick people in the theater, they applauded at the end laughed a lot. because you not a woman , FYI the breast milk thing, um it can happen so when you become a woman, come back and do the review over... we liked it and I'm not a chick flick film lover, there was a story here, oh and Nick young women can be sexual and out of control at that age it not uncommon nor is it an emotion or behavior exclusive to men only.,seriously.You sound a little, well ;ie you think it ok for men but a woman? it's 2012 not 1957! To each his own, right?
