Preposterous and ponderous, this delusion of a drama centers on an amazingly inept shrink (Hathaway) trying to treat people severely traumatized by an airplane crash. Disturbed by the increasing disappearances of her patients, she becomes convinced that the culpable airline is masterminding a cover-up—while also facing her own sexual attraction to a survivor (Wilson) with serious psychological issues. Plausibility gets stretched beyond recognition, until a supernatural twist explains away all the inconsistencies. Audiences will be haunted by the incompetence.Author: Stephen Garrett
