Two opposing clans of werewolves, or “skinwalkers,” are at war for the life of a young half-breed named Timothy. His mixed blood is the key to their collective lycanthropic destiny. The evil Varek (Behr) will stop at nothing to kill the boy and his grizzled protector, Jonas (Koteas). Sound familiar? Skinwalkers is the declawed, half-wit younger brother of the Underworld franchise. We’re not even afforded the pleasure of a leather-clad Kate Beckinsale. Like a silver bullet, the PG-13 rating kills the only thing that could have salvaged this film: a monstrous orgy of gratuitous sex and mindless violence.
