The huge outside patio offers a top-notch view of Gastown and the inside is all gorgeous brick walls, hardwood floors and extravagantly draped windows. Clearly, the owners were striving for a comfortable neighbourhood bar vibe, but the place is more jumped-up than a casual catch-up joint. A miscellaneous gaggle of lined 'n' tanned nightlifers, young suburbanites and feisty tourists compete for each other's (and the waitstaff's) attention.
