Only open May-Sept, this HI is the most interesting in terms of architecture (ex barracks) and location (on the beach), although it is far from the centre of town (and any amenities). To compensate for the distance, they offer a free shuttle service to and from downtown. Shared and private rooms, a great licenced café, a big communal kitchen and loads of sporting equipment to use at the nearby beach makes for a flexible stay.
