Queen Elizabeth Theatre review Rate it
Built in 1959 by the City of Vancouver, the 2,900-person capacity Queen E is the home of Vancouver Opera and Ballet British Columbia. Its somewhat uneven acoustics are compensated for by a good sound system, but rock shows struggle to create any real atmosphere. However, the theatre is gradually being redeveloped, which will result in improvements to acoustics and sightlines.
