On a sunny day, the backyard patio of this small, hip joint is a veritable oasis of calm from Main Street traffic. Inside, dark wood and leather banquettes give a sophisticated modern vibe - although space is tight and tables may be too close for some tastes. Food is winning: organic burger with blue cheese and perfect fries; fall-apart lamb shank with sumptuous mascarpone mash. The brunch is one of the best in the city. Clean, unfussy plates that pack a tasty punch come courtesy of owner Wayne Martin, former executive chef of the Four Seasons downtown.
