Canada's most luxurious department store chain manages to feel more intimate than ever, despite the opening of these swish, multi-million-dollar, 12,700sq m (137,000sq ft) premises in mid 2007. With ultra-friendly service and a top-notch Holts Salon & Spa keeping them happy, excited shoppers come in droves to scope out celebrity labels (such as Sienna Miller's Twenty8Twelve). Both men's and women's contemporary departments house 'denim walls', while semi-separate boutiques exist for the fashion bigwigs: Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Marni, Hugo Boss, and more. The entrance atrium, with its cascade of Bocci lights, put the finishing touches to this unapologetic cathedral to consumerism.
