The out-of-the-way location of this authentic Venetian trat helps to limit the tourist hordes: best advice is to get off the boat at Sant'Elena and ask for directions. Once there, grab an outside table or dive into the basic but cheerful interior and order the spaghetti al Diporto (with seafood), schie (grey shrimps) with polenta, and their pièce de resistance, a magnificent fritto misto (mixed seafood fry-up).
