The location of this updated bacaro is splendid: the main entrance gives on to the busy Rialto square of San Giacomo, while the back door leads to a prime bit of Grand Canal frontage, with tables from which to soak in the view. Bancogiro dispenses excellent wines and cicheti to an appreciative crowd dowstairs; upstairs, the restaurant has creative seafood dishes.
