Bistro Bohem is one of my favorite restaurants in D.C.! The Czech menu is amazing. It offers fresh, house-made pierogies that change all the time (one time I had a classic potato-stuffed version, another time they were stuffed with potato and blue cheese). I've had the mushroom risotto a few times and also the lamb shank, which was not in the least bit dry and totally delicious. I also love the ambiance of Bistro Bohem. It sits on a corner on the border of Shaw and U Street, with a bunch of outdoor seating and widows that open to the street when it's warm. Also, the service at Bistro Bohem is always amazing. The staff is very kind.
