Located in a former industrial building that is now inhabited by a strange mixture of boxing clubs, sports gyms and bars (go round the back and head up the stairs), Hard Place is dedicated to everything connected with the culture of electric guitars, heavy riffing and big hair, with a large performance space decked out in black and overlooked by portraits of rock greats. Run by Pišta, a rock musician and impresario of long standing, Hard Place hosts frequent gig nights and DJ sessions - check the website for details.
