Boutique Soho theatre with a fascinatingly eclectic line-up

Soho Estates’ Boulevard Theatre is a new (open autumn 2019) boutiquey venue, with the same name and location as a comedy and cabaret theatre that shut down in the ’80s. This new Boulevard is rather more upmarket: a small, highly flexible theatre that will host ‘proper’ theatre shows plus late night cabaret, concerts and comedy. It will be subsidised by the downstairs restaurant, which will be open from breakfast each day. The first artistic director is Rachel Edwards, who made her name with Tooting Arts Club.
